Pada mulanya Amie ingin penuhi permintaan anak buah Amie untuk sambutan ulangtahunnya yang jatuh pada 17 Oktober. Anak buah kesayangan Amie minta Amie buatkan kek yang mengandungi reflika motosikal ninja kawasaki... maklumlah itulah motosikal kesayangannya! Memandangkan Amie kesuntukkan masa dengan pelbagai urusan, jadi tak dapatlah Amie penuhi permintaannya. Sebaliknya Amie cuba buatkan kek yang lebih mudah tetapi sedap! Jadi... muncullah idea untuk membuat sebiji Snow Cheese Cake setelah beberapa kali study di dapur Hana DI SINI.
Terima kasih banyak-banyak ye Hana di atas perkongsian kek yang sangat sedap ini!
Jumaat petang.... Amie pun mulakan operasi. Kek ini dibakar secara waterbath @ steambath.
Dah siap pun kek yang nampak gebu... perasan! Memang perasan pun dengan hasil tangan yang sangat memuaskan hati ini.
Inilah permukaan kek yang Amie terbalikkan seperti gambar di atasnya tu.... Sementara menunggu kek menjadi sejuk, Amie pun keluarkanlah cream cheese & keju cheddar serta susu pekat manis. Disebabkan agak letih, Amie tertidur sampailah ke pagi... terbiarlah kek tadi di dapur! Kebetulan pula pada sebelah paginya (Sabtu) hingga petang Amie mengikuti kelas masakan. Jadi.... kek pun terbiar lagi!
Pada sebelah malamnya, Amie gagahkan diri untuk menyiapkan Snow Cheese Cake yang terbengkalai semalaman! Wokey.... Amie belah kek menjadi 2, tapi sebaiknya jadikan 3 lapisan sebab kek ini agak tebal, maklumlah Amie gunakan adunan berganda dari adunan yang dibuat oleh Hana. Oh... ya! Terlupa pulak nak beritahu.... buangkan permukaan kek yang berwarna gelap itu... sisip dengan pisau kek terlebih dahulu ye kawan-kawan.
Amie sapukan Cream Cheese Filling di permukaan lapisan pertama. (Sila rujuk Cream Cheese Filling di bawah, sebab Amie tidak gunakan resepi Hana untuk toppingnya). Ini disebabkan Amie terpengaruh dengan resepi Cheesy Cheese Cake yang Amie pelajari di kelas masakan pada siang hari Sabtu. Adeeehhhh... ampunkan daku Hana... keknya ikut resepimu, tapi toppingnya ikut resepi guru masakanku pulak!
Selepas Amie sapu cream cheese filling, Amie taburkan parutan keju cheddar di atasnya. Seterusnya Amie sapukan pula cream cheese filling di permukaan lapisan kek kedua yang akan ditelangkupkan di atas lapisan yang sudah dipenuhi dengan parutan keju cheddar.
Ratakan permukaan dan sekeliling kek dengan cream cheese filling... walaaaaaaa... melelehhhh-lelelehh you tau! Kemudian taburkan parutan keju cheddar di atas kek, di sekitarnya dan sehingga menutupi keseluruhn kek.
Wokeh... siaplaah sudah deko ringkas untuk Snow Cheese Cake ini.
RESEPI SNOW CHEESE CAKE

Bahan-bahan
Untuk Kek: (Amie gunakan sukatan maksima)
- 4 keping slice cheese - 6 keping
- 170ml susu segar - 250ml
- 70g butter - 100g
- 80g gula halus -100g
- 80g tepung gandum ayak (hana buat 10g tpg SRF, 70g tepung superfine) - 110g
- 4 biji telur - 6 biji
- 1sk esen vanila
Untuk Topping
- 250g cream cheese Philadelphia (satu ketul)
- 1/2 tin susu pekat
- 1/2 ketul keju cheddar kraf
Amie cuba gunakan cream cheese filling yang Amie pelajari di kelas masakan untuk make-upkan kek ini. Resepinya seperti di bawah ini:
Bahan-bahan untuk Cream Cheese Filling:
500 gram cream cheese - Amie gunakan jenama Anchor
150 gram gula icing
1/4 sudu teh garam halus
100 gram UHT Whipping Cream - diputar
Cara:
1. Putar cream cheese bersama gula icing & garam hingga licin.
2. Masukkan whipping cream yang telah diputar dan gaul sehingga rata.
3. Sapukan pada lapisan kek, permukaan dan keseluruhan kek.
Cara-cara
- Untuk Kek - Siat-siatkan slice cheese dan masukkan ke dalam periuk, Masukkan sekali susu segar. Kacau hingga cheese cair kemudian masukkan butter. Matikan api. (Tak perlu hingga mendidih). Sejukkan.
- Asingkan putih dan kuning telur. Pukul putih telur dan gula hingga bertanduk (terbalikkan tak jatuh).
- Kemudian pukul kuning telur dan esen vanila lebih kurang satu-dua minit dengan kelajuan sederhana.
- Masukkan campuran susu segar, butter dan slice cheese tadi. Kacau menggunakan whisk.
- Kemudian masukkan tepung sedikit demi sedikit sehingga sebati.
- Ambil 1/3 daripada putih telur dan kaup balikkan ke dalam adunan kuning telur. Kemudian campurkan baki adunan putih telur sedikit demi sedikit. Kaup balik sebati. (jangan over, adunan agak ringan dan pekat)
- Griss loyang dengan butter dan ratakan tepung supaya tidak melekat. (boleh juga alas dengan baking paper)
- Tuang adunan ke dalam loyang dan bakar secara waterbath.
- Bakar suhu 160 api atas bawah selama 50min-1jam (Bergantung kepanasan oven masing2). Uji kek sebelum keluarkan dr oven.
- Sejukkan dahulu kek kemudian potong tengah dua bahagian.(Hana potong guna pisau pemotong roti)
- Untuk Topping - Pukul cream cheese dan susu pekat hingga sebati. Sapukan ke atas kek dan taburkan dengan parutan keju cheddar. Sejukkan dahulu dalam peti kemudian potong dan hidangkan. (Untuk topping Amie gunakan resepi Cream Cheese Filling)
